Position and orientation data via CAN

The PCAN-GPS from PEAK-System determines position and orientation data by means of various sensors, which can be transmitted on a CAN bus and logged on the internal memory card. A satellite receiver, magnetic field sensor, accelerometer, and gyroscope are available. The satellite receiver can handle GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, QZSS, and SBAS.

The data processing is performed by the NXP LPC4000 series MCU. Using the supplied library and the GNU ARM toolchain, custom firmware can be created. On delivery, the PCAN-GPS is provided with a demo firmware. Source code and further programming examples are included in the scope of supply.
