mmWave radar sensor with Sub-1 GHz reference design
This reference design from Texas Instruments demonstrates the use of the IWR1642, a single-chip, mmWave radar sensor from TI with integrated DSP, for an indoor and outdoor people-counting application along with Sub-1 GHz wireless communication.
This reference design uses the IWR1642BOOST evaluation module (EVM) and the LAUNCHXLCC1352R1 wireless MCU LaunchPad. This solution is shown to localise people out to 6 meters (short range configuration) and 14 meters (long range configuration).
