Automotive temperature sensors systems training

This video focus’ on the specific locations of temperature sensor sockets, the system level benefits of using temperature sensor solutions, and include a detailed discussion on thermistor replacement. After this training, viewers will hopefully understand the types of temperature sensors used in automotive electronic systems, and will also understand the advantages of temperature sensor ICs compared to thermistors.

The video starts by reviewing circuit topologies that use digital output temperature sensors. 

During the video, Texas Instruments provides a system level overview of the automotive use case and a more detailed block diagram discussion. The second component of this training will be a comparison between TI's temperature sensor ICs, and thermistors.
