Providing a combination of high current handling to 101.8A and high inductance to 470µH, Coilcraft has introduced a series of shielded power inductors. The AGP4233 series is suitable for use in high-current power supply and filtering applications such as those used in EV start-stop systems.

Featuring flat wire windings, which result in extremely low DC and AC resistance, the inductors are available in twelve standard inductance values from 6.8 to 470µH (with custom values also possible).

The AGP4233 series meets AEC-Q200 Grade 1 standards, operating over a temperature range from -40 to +125°C. This enables their use in harsh automotive environments.

The inductors' vertical, through-hole mounting provides a small footprint, while solderable tabs extending from the shield increase board stability. The series is halogen free with RoHS compliant tin-silver over copper terminations.

Free evaluation samples and parts from stock are available.
