Bentek Solar will exhibit in Booth #4025 at Solar Power International, scheduled to take place October 21-24, 2013 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. Company representatives will showcase Bentek’s latest offerings for utility-scale and large commercial solar power plants, including the Utility Scale Combiner and Breaker Universal Safety System.

At the show, Bentek will unveil its new UTS. Bentek has tailored the string combiner for utility-scale power plants. Standardized designs reduce configuration exercises and pre-wired options simplify installation, reducing field material and labor costs. UTS is available in grounded, ungrounded and bipolar configurations for use with any power plant design. All versions are ETL listed to UL1741 at both 600VDC and 1000VDC, creating a product line that is universally applicable to both utility-scale and commercial applications.

Also on display, Bentek’s BUSS offers safety and flexibility in a simple, single package. The new BUSS series is the universal solution for utility-scale disconnects and recombining. Users can eliminate the cost and roadblocks associated with inverter DC input limitations without sacrificing quality or reliability. The system is highly configurable, allowing up to 14 1000VDC 100 percent rated circuit breakers that provide over-current protection along with NEC 2011 compliant individual disconnects and zone current monitoring. Bentek’s BUSS is available in grounded and ungrounded configurations.
