VPT’s DVPL point-of-load converter is first of its kind to earn DSCC SMD

The Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) has issued the world’s first Standard Microcircuit Drawing (SMD) for VPT’s DVPL0505S point-of-load DC-DC converter.

The Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) has issued the world’s first Standard Microcircuit Drawing (SMD) for VPT’s DVPL0505S point-of-load DC-DC converter.

This is a non-isolated, synchronous, buck regulated converter that steps down the voltage at the point of end use. The DVPL is the only point-of-load converter designed and built to military-grade reliability as defined in MIL-PRF-38534.

This designation simplifies the procurement of high reliability power management products for Department of Defense (DoD) programs specifying avionics, military, and space qualified components.
