Eaton Vehicle Electrical Centres (VECs) are power distribution centres capable of high-power density and circuit protection and are now available from TTI.

VECs offer the flexibility to customise per customer wiring schematic.

Already widely used in the transportation industry, the VECs use patented configurable 3D matrix technologies that can be easily modified to accommodate changes to an electrical system.

The product requires no tooling for implementation.

Eaton’s ssVEC (Severe Service VEC) can operate in high vibration and moisture environments and is compliant with IP66 standards.

The multiplexed Vehicle Electrical Center (mVEC) offers an economical CAN Network for high power circuits and is rated at 200 Amps.

The mVEC uses industry standard fuses, relays and breakers with the status and control of each circuit accessible through J1939 CAN open messages.
