Components Bureau has introduced its Precision range of standard and fully-custom wound components, which includes both high- and low-frequency transformers and inductors, for a wide range of applications including power supply, lighting, test & measurement and industrial control & automation. The Precision range of products is designed to fulfil industry needs in terms of flexibility, quality and value, while meeting short lead time requirements.

Specific to DC/DC and AC/DC power supplies markets, the Precision range comprises: output chokes for switching power supplies, constructed EMI noise filters, pulse transformers, DC output/input filters, planar transformers, light dimmer linear chokes, PFC inductors, flyback transformers and inductors, sawdust toroidal cores used in switching regulator inductors, in-line noise filters, high-flux toroidal cores used in in-line noise filters, switching regulator inductors, fly-back transformers, toroidal PFC chokes, output filters and storage chokes. In addition to wound component supply, Components Bureau offers supporting services including materials sourcing, metalwork and some PCB assembly.

“OEMs require the appropriate wound components for switching, protecting, and regulating their end equipment,” explained Ruggero Ravazzini, Precision Range Product Manager, Components Bureau. “However, when you need a transformer or inductor urgently and lead times start from six weeks, it can cause major headaches. Increasingly long lead times are a common problem facing many at the moment. We guarantee response times within 14 days from drawings to samples as standard and production volumes from as little as three weeks ex-factory.”

Both standard and fully-custom products are built at the company’s affiliated ISO9001:2008-certified plants in China, and are fully designed and tested in accordance to International standards (UL (cURus) / CENELEC / IEC / EN) prior to dispatch. Custom marking and packaging options are available upon request.
