The TMW7-5 is a class II power adapter featuring 90-264 VAC universal input and 5V DC output in fixed or interchangeable AC plug configurations. There are 4 different types of wall plugs to meet worldwide requirements: US, EU, UK, and Australia.
The power supply delivers up to 6 watts of continuous output power, with standard 5V/1A or optional 5V/1.2A output. The USB socket on the case type is standard on this model and an output cable with a USB, mini USB, barrel or other type of connector can be ordered. The unit has a typical efficiency of 75% at full load with a standby power consumption less than 0.3W that meets CEC level V and ErP Step 2 standards.
The wall mount power adapter is fully protected against overvoltage, overload, and short-circuit conditions. They can withstand 5,656 VDC from input to output and have a low leakage current of 100µA maximum at 264 VAC/60 Hz. The power supplies can operate at an ambient temperature range of -10°C to +50°C, with no derating required at 0°C to +40°C.
The TMW7 power adapters are certified by UL, TUV and CB to the 3rd edition international medical standards: IEC 60601-1:2005, EN 60601-1:2006, UL ANSI/AAMI ES 60601-1:2005 and CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 60601-1:08. The units are in compliance with CE marking requirements per EMC Directive 93/42/EEC emission and immunity standards that include EN 60601-1-2:2007, EN 61000-3-2, EN 61000-4-2, EN 61000-4-4, EN 61000-4-5, EN 55011:2009:/A1:2010 Group 1 Class B, etc.
The TMW7-5 AC adapters are in mass production and are available from stock to 10 weeks ARO.
