TMD highlights microwave power modules at AOC exhibition

In October this year TMD Technologies will again be exhibiting at the AOC international symposium and convention in Washington DC, a long-established specialist event for the international electronic warfare community. TMD designs and manufactures a wide range of pulse, CW and ICW amplifiers for naval and airborne electronic countermeasures (ECM), and has a worldwide reputation for technical performance and product reliability, particularly at high power and high frequency. The company also has many years’ experience in high voltage power supplies (HVPSUs) for towed decoy applications.

The UK company will be showing examples of its power supplies and microwave power modules (MPMs) used in existing programmes, and looks forward to discussing new projects.

In particular, TMD’s new compact, lightweight MPMs are ideally suited for airborne ECM applications and can be customised to particular power and frequency requirements. This year the company launched a new model, the PTX8207, which has an enhanced power output of up to 140 W across a wider frequency range of 4.5-18.0 GHz.
