The future of data centres

Our hunger for data intensifies each year. This trend is likely to persist indefinitely given our ever-increasing dependence on the internet. We need to connect every day to do business, communicate with others, access government services, shop around, entertain ourselves, and so on.

All of these activities require colossal amounts of data that have to be housed in special facilities. Given the projected surge in demand, these data centres have to improve in terms of performance and efficiency.
