Stackpole’s metal alloy current sense chip resistors

Stackpole’s metal alloy current sense chip resistors offer efficiency and accuracy for high-current power supplies.

Today’s high current power supplies demand high efficiency and accuracy.  This can be difficult because typically low resistance values are not able to offer tolerances tighter than 1% and maintain low TCR.

Stackpole’s CSS/CSSH is a surface mount all metal current sense resistor that offers 0.5% resistor tolerance for select sizes and TCR as low as 15 ppm. The AEC-compliant CSS/CSSH offers operating temperatures up to 225°C and full power operation up to 100°C ambient.

This combination of low resistance, high stability, and high precision makes the CSS/CSSH ideal for a wide range of industrial controls, motor and engine controls, and high current power supply requirements where accuracy is important.

Pricing for the CSS/CSSH varies with size, tolerance, power rating, and resistance value. Contact Stackpole or one of our franchised distribution partners for volume pricing.
