Safety Power – Embedded Programmable Power Supplies

Industrial and programmable power supply specialist, Safety Power Group, has launched a new range of single output embedded programmable power supplies offering 1200W output power with various voltage and current ranges.

The new Sigma EXWUI series is available in seven models offering single outputs of 0 to 20V DC at 0 to 70A, 0 to 30V DC at 0 to 50A, 0 to 52V DC at 0 to 30A, 0 to 60V DC at 0 to 25A, 0 to 90V DC at 0 to 17A, 0 to 140V DC at 0 to 10A and 0 to 180V DC at 0 to 8A. All models feature power factor corrected universal input, 90 to 264V AC, 45 to 66Hz or 130 to 250V DC. Other standard features include load share (LS) bus for parallel operation, remote on/off and power fail (PF) signal.

Output voltage and current programming is achieved via 0 to 5V analogue signal with output voltage and current monitoring also via 0 to 5V analogue signal output. Separate programming and monitoring is also available via 15-way D-Sub interface that includes the PF signal, LS bus, remote on/off, over temperature alarm, voltage and current programming (0 to 5V DC) and output voltage and current read back (0 to 5V DC).

Dimensions are 270 x 150 x 108mm, 4kg weight and units can also be supplied with an optional wall mounting bracket.

Sigma EXWUI series power supplies are designed to EN 60950, EN 55011/55022 class B safety and EMC standards and feature a full three year warranty as standard. Units are supplied with a 48 hour burn-in test to ensure the highest possible reliability.
