Powersolve’s PBT Series of uninterruptible power supplies feature a pure sine wave output and are based on a microprocessor-based line interactive design. These new UPS models are generator compatible and incorporate a “green” power facility with an auto on/off function and adjustable level.

The PBT Series consists of eight models, four with an LED display and four with an LCD display and provide 1500VA, 2200VA, 3300VA or 4000VA. Input voltage is either 115VAC – selectable between 110 to 120VAC - or 230VAC – selectable between 200 to 240VAC.

The PBT 1500-230 model has UL and cUL approval which, according to Powersolve, is unusual for a UPS of this type. The 3300VA and 4000VA models can be supplied with hot swappable batteries if required.

All models incorporate a smart AVR function based on two buck/boost modes and feature the automatic restart of load after UPS shutdown. PBT Series units are protected against overload, short circuit and over temperature.

Key features also include adjustable voltage sensitivity, charging voltage and voltage transfer points as well as smart battery management with double stage charge control. Remaining backup time is displayed on the unit’s LED or LCD display.

Communications and management is via an optional network SNMP card and an RS232 interface compatible with most all major interfaces including Windows, Linux, SCO UNIX and DOS.
