With this addition to the portfolio, RECOM is able to comply with customers’ requirements across the board: from low-power electronics and sensor technology with ultra-small and highly-efficient DC/DC converters to the central front end of a stable mains supply.
The REDIN/3AC series deliver 120W, 240W, 480W or 960W at a stable 24V output voltage (trimmable from 22.5 – 29.5VDC) with only 40mV ripple. For power-hungry applications and redundancy purposes, the units can be connected in parallel with no need for additional components due to their built-in droop mode regulation with current limitation to guarantee equal load distribution.
These intrinsically-safe PSUs are protected against overload with a power feedback function at overtemperature. The regulated power limitation also allows a stable startup of non-linear loads.
These modules are certified to IEC/UL508 Standard for Industrial Control Equipment and EN/IEC/UL60950 for worldwide usage and come with a 5-year warranty. Samples are available from all authorised distributors.
