Power supply meets newest 62368-1 safety standards

Tumbler Technologies with TRUMPower have introduced the TIPC180-FX/FXM, a 180W Flex ATX PC power supply available with fixed or modular output cable-sets. Features include a wide input range of 90-264VAC, low ripple and noise, and an operating altitude of up to 5,000m.

The TIPC180-FX is approved to the latest UL/IEC/EN 62368-1 safety standards and complies with EMI/EMC standards, including FCC, EN 55032 and CISPR 32, Class B conducted and radiated. It has an MTBF more than 150,000 hours at full load and 25°C ambient, calculated per MIL-HDBK-217F. Earth leakage current is 150µA maximum at 264 VAC, 50Hz.

The power supply complies with Flex ATX standard suitable for small chassis builds utilising Flex ATX or Mini ITX motherboards.  Possible applications include compact industrial computers, DVR/NVR, NAS, ATM/kiosk machines, firewall, networking, and telecom. It consists of DC voltage outputs and maximum loads of +3.3V/8A, +5V/12A, +12V/12A, -12V/0.3A, +5Vsb/2A.

The maximum overall output is 180W, with +3.3V and +5V providing a maximum power of 61W. Measuring 150×81.5×40.5mm (5.91×3.21×1.59”),the unit includes a standard output cable-set that can meet the requirements of most applications. But any other special requirements of the cable-set can be accommodated as well.

Additional features include over voltage, over current, short circuit protections, and 0 to 70ºC operating temperature (de-rated to 85% at 60ºC, 60% at 70ºC).
