The TE40 series 40W power supplies from SL Power Electronics has been added to the line of Level VI+ external power solutions for test and measurement applications. The TE40 has been specifically designed for the power rigours of test and measurement and industrial devices that require low noise and robust performance.

The 40W TE wall-plug and desktop external power supplies exceed the US Department of Energy’s (DOE) Level VI efficiency requirements and provide:

  • enhanced performance that goes beyond the Level VI standard to provide superior EMC/EMI compliance.
  • heavy industrial levels of EMC per EN61000-4-X for protecting end-use equipment from harsh electrical environments, including 8/15kV for ESD and 4kV for input surge protection.
  • long-life through high-quality electrolytic capacitors that provide greater than 7-year life expectation.

“EMI, EMC, ESD, surge and radiated noise are challenging issues for today’s design engineers,” said Paul Kingsepp, Global Product Manager for SL Power Electronics. “Our new TE models help equipment designers get their end-product to market faster by addressing problematic interference and susceptibility issues. Our new TE40 is the perfect solution for mobile hand-held test equipment that requires the highest level of efficiency, EMI and EMC performance.”

The TE Series family is available now through SL Power’s worldwide distribution sales channels and features a three-year warranty. Pricing starts at $19.75 in OEM quantities.
