Power supplies available in four chassis mount case styles

A series of 400W AC/DC power supplies, which are available in four chassis mount case styles, has been introduced by CUI. The PCM-400 power supplies can be housed in a compact U-frame measuring 152.4×101.6×38.1mm or enclosed frames with top or rear fan options. Suitable for a number of ITE, telecomms and industrial applications, the devices feature a wide range of voltages, multiple protections and peak power capabilities of up to 700W within a 500µs duty cycle.

For global operation, the power supplies provide a universal 90-264VAC input. Eight single output models are included within the series, and range from 12 to 54VDC. Dual output versions are also available. The PCM-400 power supplies are rated for operation at full load from 0° to 50°C ambient, derating to 50% load at 70°C. Alongside active PFC, the devices are offered with remote on/off control and protections for over voltage, over current, short circuit, and over temperature.

The power supplies, which feature an input-to-output isolation of 3000VAC and an output-to-ground isolation of 1500VAC, meet EN60950-1 standards, are UL/cUL and TUV certified, and EN55022 class B EMI compliant. The PCM-400 power supplies are available now, priced from $187.75 and sold in 100-piece quantities.
