Delivering 500W of power and achieving up to 92% peak efficiency, the XL500 provides more power from its small footprint design than competing modules, freeing board space for other components. The new units offer a universal AC input with a built-in safeguard against any sudden drop in power (brown-out protection). Additionally, there is protection against overload, over voltage and over temperature plus a remote sense function to safely regulate the supply’s output voltage.
Fully UL and CE safety certified, the power modules weigh just 460g. Supplied with a 3-year standard warranty, the power supplies can withstand up to 2G vibrations.
The XL500 joins the company’s existing XL and PL programmable power supply products that deliver a wide variety of single output voltages from 5V to 60V and 450 to 3000W.
