The +12V output is rated at 7A, the -12V one at 1.5A. Input voltage is an autoranging 90-264VAC, 47 to 63Hz.
The PSU features active power factor correction to achieve a full load power factor of 0.95 at 220VAC. Efficiency is greater than 80% at full load. It is hot swappable, has high temperature shutdown with auto recovery, overload, over-voltage and short circuit protection and operate at full load up to 55°C without derating, subject to forced air cooling at 400 linear feet/minute. Line regulation is ±0.5%, 3.3V and 5V load regulation ±1%, 3.3V and 5V ripple is 60mV p-p.
The conductively finished front panel is fitted with an EMI gasket and guide pin, protective ground, injector/extractor handles compatible with the long first-make/last-break pins specified for cPCI systems and keying to conform to IEEE 1101.10/11.
The PSUs have been tested with 10G shock loading and 1.9G RMS 10Hz to 500Hz vibration. They conform to the EMC requirements defined in EN61000-3 and -4.
The unit is the first of several new PSUs to be launched: new 3U 250W and 450W 12, 24 and 48V single output units will be announced soon.
