Isabellenhütte expands its distribution network with Arrow Electronics to meet customer needs.

Isabellenhütte continues to expand its distribution channels: With immediate effect, Arrow Central Europe, with its European headquarters in Neu-Isenburg, will include Isabellenhütte products in its portfolio. Isabellenhütte's low-ohmic precision and power resistors will initially be available from Arrow Electronics throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In addition, customer-specific resistor solutions will also be developed jointly if required.

Arrow Electronics promotes innovation for more than 210,000 leading technology manufacturers and service providers and offers a wide range of IP&E products, i.e. passive and electromechanical components and matching connectors.

With the power resistors from Isabellenhütte, the distributor is expanding its range of low-ohmic shunts to include the ISA-PLAN and ISA-WELD technologies. With these manufacturing processes based on the company's own resistance alloys, Isabellenhütte achieves the best results in terms of temperature coefficient, thermal EMF, long-term stability, inductance, and load capacity. In addition, the ISA-WELD process in particular allows a high degree of flexibility in application design.

Precision resistors from Isabellenhütte are used in numerous sectors, such as the automotive industry – and here especially in engine control, injection systems, driver assistance and battery management systems. In future markets such as e-mobility and smart grids, precise measurement solutions are in demand as never before. Industrial and power electronics, aerospace, telecommunications, and medical engineering also benefit from the low-ohmic resistor components.

"The cooperation with Arrow Electronics provides us with new growth opportunities in one of our core segments," says Guido Renner, Global Sales Director Components at Isabellenhütte. "We also look forward to new project opportunities in the joint development of customised products."
