Nu Horizons Electronics has expanded its UK and Ireland distribution agreement with N2Power, a Qualstar Company, to become a worldwide distributor for the entire product line of XL-Series AC-DC power supplies. N2Power’s XL125, XL160 and XL250 Series AC-DC power supplies are said by the company to produce more power in less space, freeing up system real estate.
“We are very pleased that Nu Horizons Electronics has invited N2Power to join its select list of suppliers,” said Randy Johnson, N2Power business unit manager. “Our expanded agreement gives N2Power enhanced exposure, and the ability to reach out to customers worldwide through Nu Horizons dedicated technical sales and engineering support teams. Our state-of-the-art power supplies complement Nu Horizons’ current component offerings. Together, we deliver enhanced value and flexibility to OEM power systems designers that pay real competitive dividends in their final products.”
N2Power is a high quality, service-driven leader within the power industry. We are pleased to add their ultra small, high efficiency power supplies to our global line card, comments Rita Megling, senior vice president of marketing at Nu Horizons. We look forward to further collaborating with N2Power on a global basis to provide exceptional products, services and solutions expertise to our customers around the world.”
The XL-Series high power density product families incorporate industry leading features including active power factor correction, built in or’ing diodes for current sharing, active inrush current limiter, remote on-off, I2C interface for digital power management and high efficiency: over 90% in some models. All N2Power supplies meet a full range of international agency approvals, including UL, DEMKO, CE Mark and FCC Class B. All N2Power products are RoHS compliant.
