The KLN 750W model range consists of eleven units ranging from 0-6V at 0-100A to 0-600V at 0-1.25A. Programming of voltage, current and their limits may be achieved from the front panel controls, by remote analogue means or by RS 485 digital control. GPIB or LAN interfaces are also available as factory-installed options. A speed controlled fan limits acoustic noise and all instruments come with a three year manufacturer’s warranty.
The versatile KLN range has applications in a variety of sectors including aerospace, telecommunications, quality control testing, burn-in, renewable energy, process control, battery testing and more.
David Sheath is General Manager of Caltest Instruments, who will be distributing the KLN range in the UK. He said:
‘The launch of the KLN range sees KEPCO entering the area of high density, half-rack sized DC supplies. This is a new market for KEPCO and one that is relatively sparsely catered for, so we are sure the combination of high power density and competitive pricing offered by the KLN range will prove to be a popular choice with customers from a wide range of industries and backgrounds. The lead times for delivery also compare favourably with the existing choices for this kind of power supply, which should help to further boost the appeal of the KEPCO instruments.’
