Three isolated DC/DC converters have been added to the range available from CUI. The PDQ10‑D, PDQ15‑D and PDQ30‑D have outputs of 10, 15 and 30W respectively.

All feature a 4:1 input voltage range of 9.0 to 36 or 18 to 75VDC, with high typical efficiencies up to 90%.

Housed in a compact, low-profile DIP package with a five-sided, shielded metal case, the rugged, encapsulated modules measure 25.4x25.4x10.16mm (1.0x1.0x0.4") and are replacements for larger 1.0 x 2.0" modules.

Single regulated output voltages are 3.3, 5.0, 12 and 15VDC or dual regulated output voltages of ±5.0, ±12 and ±15VDC.

The -40 to +105°C operating range and encapsulated design, make the converters suitable for convection-cooled equipment and harsh environments, such as telecomms, industrial, remote sensor systems and portable electronics.

All models offer an input to output isolation of 1,500VDC and feature remote on/off control. Single output models also offer output voltage trimming that allows for a ±10% adjustment of the nominal output. Over-voltage, input under-voltage lockout and continuous short circuit protection are included.
