As one of the leading resellers of Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems and Services, Harland Simon UPS are now promoting and stocking the new improved version of the Chloride Active range of Single Phase UPS.
Incorporating Green Mode Function, the new Active Range allows automated shutdown of the UPS unit when there is no load supported by it, preventing energy wastage. The Active is available from 700 - 3000VA in rack and tower versions and provides efficiencies of up to 97%, making it ideal for protecting critical IT business systems such as servers, networks, workstations and VOIP technologies.

Active's innovative rack or tower convertible design allows it to be deployed in either format, making it ideal for environments where space is at a premium. It fits easily into our 19 rack enclosures. The new Active has easy to use LED and LCD user interfaces. Harland Simon can provide the external battery packs allowing for an increased range of autonomies giving further flexibility in the management of an organisation's backup power infrastructure. The Active Range offers the highest output power factor of 0.9 for both leading and lagging loads. Through Active's controllable output sockets, businesses can intelligently manage the loads which are protected by the UPS.

Scott Billson, Commercial Sales Manager, commented In today's market, both preventing energy waste and extended battery autonomy has been highlighted as the key deciding factors from many of our customers when requesting a UPS. The new Active with its many features including its unique high efficiency make this UPS an ideal choice for use in many IT applications. With the addition of the Active Free Standing Battery Cubicles this makes it possible to support various loads for up to 24 hours.

Additionally, the new version of Active UPS is fully compatible with Harland Simon's existing connectivity solutions giving centralised control of distributed or remote UPS Systems and enabling safe network shutdown.
