Its high efficiency means that the heat to be dissipated by the heatsink or base plate is minimal according to the company. No external components are required as the units include EMC filtering, bulk storage capacitors and an AC input fuse.
The dimensions are 116.8×61.0x17.0mm, making them suitable for PCB pin mounted designs. Cooling can be accomplished by mounting the device to, for example, the host equipment’s metal chassis or by adding an optional heatsink.
There are six single output models available in standard outputs of 12, 15, 24, 28, 36 and 48VDC. Maximum no load power consumption is less than 0.3W. Standard protection includes over current, over voltage and over temperature. The universal input range is 85 to 264VAC.
The operating temperature range is -40 to +85°C. It is approved to ITE 60950-1 international safety approvals per UL, TUV and CB agencies and meets Class B emissions standards as per EN55022, without the need for additional filtering components.
It is suitable for automation and process control, broadcast, fixed telecomms, instrumentation, networking/datacomms/computing, mobile comms, specialist equipment and transport.
