Front access DC system provides high power density
With the addition of the Aspiro 2U Fully Integrated Compact System, UNIPOWER continues to provide customers with highly flexible options for small space power system applications. The Aspiro 2U is a 90A Front Access DC power system that delivers high-efficiencies and power densities for a range of applications including radio base stations, broadband access, cable head ends, Enterprise E911, GSM-R and LTE.
Aspiro Systems have been available in Europe and Asia and are now being made available in the Americas.
The Aspiro can be configured using three different rectifiers: the XR04.48, producing 400W each, the XR08.48, at 800W each, or the 95% efficiency XPGe12.48, producing 1200W for a maximum of 4,800W or 90A. System management is accomplished via a pluggable system controller, complete with remote access functionality with Ethernet, web server, and SNMP interface.
The Aspiro 2U includes several highly flexible distribution options that offer the optimum 2U shelf solution for space-critical applications. The system is a short 11.7” deep for installation in ETSI racks. Options include battery and load disconnects and various DC distribution options. Front Connect capability that utilises the shelf slide-out option is also available.
The device, approved to EN60950-1 2nd Edition, UL/CSA60950-1 2nd Edition and IEC60950 2nd Edition, comes with a two year warranty as standard.
