From 0.25W DC/DC converters to 25kW power supplies

RSG Electronic in Germany develops, manufactures and distributes power supply solutions, from small board-mount DC/DC converters to fully customised multi-kilowatt 3-phase AC/DC devices. At PCIM in Nuremberg RSG Electronic showcased the latest highlights from the well-known RSG R-Series: this complete portfolio of THT and SMT board-mount DC/DC converters ranges from a 0.25W in SIP4 or DIP8 packages to 60W 2×1” isolated modules and is complemented by non-isolated, high-efficiency step-down converters for Point-of-Load (PoL) topologies.

At the other end of its power range, it presents current examples from RSG’s Custom High-Power portfolio, such as power supplies for marine communication or charging solutions.

The exhibition is rounded off by top-notch products from technology partners, like DC/DC railway converters and medical power supplies from P-Duke.

At PCIM Europe 2018 RSG Electronic were on stand #435 in Hall 7, and discussed power requirements with customers to determine whether a custom design or a standard off-the-shelf product suited certain needs better.

RSG General Manager Stefan Westerbecke also presented on the topic “Custom or standard solution” in the Exhibitor Forum in Hall 7 on 7^th June.
