In 2017 the power electronics market in Italy grew by 14% reaching 120 million euros for the semiconductor power components segment, according to the Italian Federation of Electronics Clusters, Assodel, data.
Sectors for 2018 include e-mobility and electric vehicles, reflecting the areas growth in both of these sectors. Other themes will be wireless charging, GaN and SiC topologies, packaging, energy storage, inverters and drives.
On 27 June, there will be the Sutrategic Innovation Summit with analysis and presentations by academics, and industrial leaders. This will be followed by the Assodel Awards, an evening recognising manufacturers and customers in the electronics industry.
The exhibition opens 28 June, with exhibitors, start-ups and partners exchanging ideas, together with a forum consisting of over 50 lectures, application conferences, technical workshops and seminars
