FLEXPOINT MVpulse

Housing the highest light intensity is fundamental in machine vision applications.

However, when using laser light, laser class regulations can sometimes be a limiting factor. LASER COMPONENTS offers the MVpulse which combines bright light with output powers of up to 100mW whilst at the same time having a class 2 eye safety.

Using the PCO (pulse control option) it allows up to 5x higher peak power compared to CW made with the same laser class.

The MVpulse driver electronics generate laser pulses with powers that reach four times the continuous wave output. Safety class is ensured as the spacing and power of the pulses are monitored and calculated. High output powers are a requirement of machine vision lasers to allow for more detailed processing and high-contrast imaging.

Using the electronics within the laser modules means LASER COMPONENTS are able to match the acquisition frequency and illumination pulses to each other. Thus, allowing usage without the need for complicated protective measures. This laser is available in wavelengths of 640, 660 and 785nm and can deliver output powers of 10 to 100mW at pulse lengths between 15ms and 0.38ms.
