The modules are AC line operated, fully protected from the harsh output characteristics of this application, with limited interface features and performance to control cost. The modules have dual, high-voltage outputs to power the ionizer and collector. Other features include a fault monitor with isolated relay contacts and a fixed-frequency, low-stored-energy design. These modules are UL, cUL, IEC-60950-1, and Demko Recognized.
The ESP Series of high-voltage regulated AC-DC converters addresses the need for a nominal-performance, stand alone HV module to power Electro-Static-Precipitators operating in air or oil in higher reliability 24/7 applications & environments such as medical, industrial, agriculture, food processing & food service. These modules are designed and built utilizing state-of-the-art power-conversion topology. ESP Series units feature design, manufacturing process, and encapsulation techniques that provide high reliability.
Typical ESP Series applications include electrostatic air cleaners in medical, industrial, agricultural, food, and food service products.
James Morrison, CEO and Co-Founder of UltraVolt, commented: “UltraVolt is excited to expand our AC input DC High Voltage output product line with application specific Electrostatic Precipitator products enabling designers to use UltraVolt products in lower cost equipment applications. Designers working with electrostatic precipitation in Air and Oil will get excellent results using the UltraVolt ‘ESP’ Series models from 10W to 50W. Meeting our customer’s needs for application specific ranges of price/performance is another way we continue ‘Making High Voltage Easier’.”
