The series is highly suited for home healthcare, hospital, clinical, dental and life sciences applications for monitoring, imaging and diagnostic equipment.
Nine commonly used output voltages are available, ranging from 5 to 48Vdc. The wide 80 to 264Vac input operating range is applied through a standard IEC 60320-C8 (2-pin) inlet socket. The output cable is terminated with a straight 5.5×2.1x12mm (OD x ID x L) connector, with other types of connectors and cable assemblies available on request.
All models have an average efficiency level of 85% to 88.3% (model dependant) and an off-load power consumption of less than <75mW. This enables the series to fully meet the EU CoC Tier 2 and DoE Efficiency Level VI requirements. The rugged plastic enclosure is vent-free (IP21) and measures 100mm in length, 45mm in width and 22.5mm in height. The DTM36-C8 can operate in ambient temperatures of -30 to 60oC, derating linearly to 60% load from 40 to 60oC.
The DTM36-C8 is certified to IEC/ES/EN 60601-1, meets IEC 60335-1 (Household Appliances) and carries the CE mark for the Low Voltage, EMC and RoHS Directives. The input to output isolation is 4,000Vac (2 x MOPP) and the leakage current less than 80µA. The series complies with the EN 55011 (Class B) and EN 60601-1-2 Ed4 EMC standards.
