Murata Announce Self-Powered DC Voltmeter For Battery Monitoring
Murata introduce the compact DMR20-10-DCM “nanoMeter” self-powered auto-ranging DC voltmeter designed for mounting in an industry-standard “oiltight” 30 and 30.5 mm / 1.2 inch round panel cutout. Occupying minimal space, the round voltmeter has a 7.6mm / 0.3 inch four-digit LED display and is self-powered. Connection to the + 6 to + 75 VDC supply to be monitored is all that is required for full operation. No a
A user configurable jumper provides voltage display to a fixed 0.1 V resolution (input + 6 to + 75 VDC) or to a 0.01 V resolution when the input is below + 51 VDC. With its low power consumption, typically less than 7 mA, the DMR20 voltmeter is ideal for use in a broad range of battery-powered applications, battery chargers and renewal energy equipment.
The voltmeter is packaged in a rugged plastic housing that has been designed to provide protection to IP67 / NEMA 6 specifications for water ingress.
The DMR20 is supplied with a EPDM rubber gasket and plastic hex nut ready to mount in the industry standard panel cutout. Tooling is readily available to drill and punch the cutout, and can also be ordered with the DMR20.
The voltmeter is protected against reverse polarity to a maximum of 100 VDC. A self-resetting internal fuse also provides long-term reliability and protection. The DMR20 can operate from – 25 to + 60 degrees C.
