DIN Rail Power with PFC - reliable & inexpensive
With its high-output NDR-240 (240W) and NDR-480 (480W) series, MeanWell has industrial control in its sights. These power supplies will find applications in areas such as control systems in industrial plants, automation facilities in factories, and in electromechanical devices. With their narrow construction (63mm and 85.5mm respectively), these reliable units are suitable for switching cabinet mounting on TS-35/7.5 and TS-35/15 DIN rails.
Compared with their DRP-240 and DRP-480 predecessors, the physical volume of the NDR-240 and NDR-480 models has been reduced by 43% and 51.6% respectively, making them the first choice for switching cabinets with limited space.
Additional features include the integrated active PFC filter, a wide input voltage range from 96 to 264VAC, and high efficiency of up to 92.5%. Fan-free, these units are cooled by free air convection and can be used in operating temperatures from -20 to +70°C. The NDR-240 and NDR-480 series are protected against short circuit, overload, over-voltage and overtemperature. They meet the requirements of EN61000-6-2 (EN500082-2) for industrial ESD immunity, and also carry UL508/TÜV/CB approvals.
The units are guaranteed for three years by the manufacturer. Both the NDR-240 and NDR-480 units will soon be available direct from Schukat stock.
