Design for power-isolated ultra-compact analogue output module

This single-channel, power-isolated, analogue output module reference design from Texas Instruments delivers current and voltage outputs using the highly-integrated DAC8771 digital-to-analogue converter (DAC). The design features external circuitry to provide transient protection for electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).

The high integration of the DAC8771 coupled with the LM25180 primary-side regulated flyback converter lead to a compact, isolated design with 52x40mm board dimensions and a maximum component height of four millimetre.
