DC power supply enables higher currents at lower voltages

The new Aim TTi QPX750SP DC power supply offers a maximum output power of 750 watts.

It is suited to both bench-top and system applications. Colour touch screen providing entry via touch, keypad or rotary control interface.

It is packaged in a compact 3U half rack case, and it offers voltages up to 80V and currents up to 50A are available within a defined power envelope.

The QPX750SP provides an added safety feature where voltages above 50V require authorisation from the user to comply with SELV.

A conventional PSU has a fixed current limit giving a power capability that reduces directly with the output voltage.

The Aim-TTi PowerFlex+ regulation systems enable higher currents to be generated at lower voltages within an overall power limit envelope.

The output can provide more than six times the current of a conventional PSU of the same maximum voltage and power.

A balanced multi-phase converter system minimises ripple and improves dynamic performance.

This provides unusually low noise for the power level coupled with good transient response.

A comprehensive array of interfaces including USB, LAN /LXi and Quasi-analogue are standard.

GPIB is available as a factory or customer fit option. QPX750SP is supplied with Aim-TTi Test Bridge software, providing graphical remote instrument control, logging and sequencing.
