DC power sources run at 6000W for extended periods
Designed for demanding applications which require absolute reliability, Powersolve has introduced a series of programmable power sources providing up to 6000W. The high-performance SM6000 series of rack-mount or bench-top devices are capable of operating at full power for extended periods.
The series includes eight models with output voltages from 0 to 600V and currents up to 400A, all featuring excellent dynamic response to load changes and active PFC of 0.98 at 100% load. The power sources can be operated in serial or parallel configuration with voltage and current sharing.
All models in the SM6000 series require a three phase voltage input and also provide excellent EMC immunity and emission characteristics surpassing CE requirements, as well as overload and short circuit protections.
The DC power sources are housed in an IP20 rated 4U enclosure which weighs 27kg.
