These high voltage modules also feature integrated temperature compensation circuitry providing control for both discreet and temperature-sensor-inclusive APDs. Integrated current limiters ensure that the APD is protected from overexposure. Output voltage is controlled via an analogue control voltage, voltage divider or via a digital interface (SPI or RS-232).
DC/DC high voltage modules
For use with its range of avalanche photodiodes, LASER COMPONENTS is a supplier of DC/DC high voltage modules capable of providing up to 380V from a 5V input voltage. Three versions are available; the dBC-120-3x, providing output voltages in the range 1 -120V, the dBC-220-3x for 1-220V and, for larger APDs requiring higher voltages up to 380V, the dBC-380-5x. All three modules feature a compact housing (21 x 21 x 8.3mm), ideal for small-footprint designs.
