The output has an trim range of +/- 10%. The converter has a full load efficiency of 94% which allows for use over a wide ambient temperature range (w/derating.) The open frame design is also available with an optional base plate for those applications where conduction cooling is required or preferred. This module is compliant with DOSA footprint and interface standards.
The CPE17B50 meets EN 60950 basic insulation requirements and is UL94 V-0 flammability rated. The module complies with all of the typical industry requirements including no load operation and 80V/100mS input voltage transient. Other features include: fixed-frequency operation, auto-restart OVP, OCP & OTP protections, UVLO and remote sense. Remote ON/OFF is standard with positive or negative logic options available.
The module features a standard 8th brick pinout and dimensions of 2.3×0.9”. It has a maximum height of 11.8mm which accommodates tight card spacing with minimal airflow blockage of downstream components. A base plate version is available for conduction cooling applications with an industry standard height of 0.50″.
