The constant-current LXC series offers 30 watts or 50 watts of output power with efficiencies up to 88% and universal input over 90VAC to 264VAC. The 50W supplies offer nine output voltage ranges from 6-12V to 71-142VDC, whilst the 30W versions provide seven output voltage ranges from 6-12V to 42-85VDC.
The constant-voltage LXV series offers output power from 75W to 300W with no minimum load and efficiency up to 95%. Supplies rated at up to 120W have an input voltage range of 90 to 305VAC, whilst the 150W to 300W modules have an input voltage range of 90 to 264VDC. Nine modules provide output voltages to suit specific LED requirements: 12, 24, 36, 42, 48, 54, 81 and 105VDC.
Both series feature protection against over-voltage and short-circuit and are rated to IP67. The LXC series is also protected against over-temperature conditions. Both series meet specifications for conducted and radiated emissions: EN550015 level B. The wide operating temperature range is from -35 degrees to +60 degrees C for the LXC series and -35 to +70 degrees C for the LXV series.
“The power stage is a critical element for the longevity and efficiency of any LED design. These new LED power supplies, combined with ACAL’s specialist technical support and assembly services, will make it easier for designers to benefit from the small size, high efficiency and long life offered by LED lighting”. Explained Sean Say, Divisional Manager, ACAL Technology.
Typical applications for the LXC and LXV families include consumer brown and white goods such as refrigerator lighting, general LED lighting, outdoor, architectural and other sign applications, as well as street lighting.
