Medical (MDP1200) and industrial grade (DDP1200) series of AC/DC power supplies from EFORE offer 1200W of rated power through the full input voltage range of 85 to 305 VAC at typical energy efficiencies of 94% within a compact 1U rack mount height package. They are in stock at Luso Electronics.

Certified to the latest IEC 60601 MOOP and 2 x MOPP safety standards for isolation and ultra-low leakage of current, the MDP1200 power supply units are ideal for laboratory analysis and medical devices while the DDP1200 series is optimised for test and measurement equipment in industrial settings, among other devices.

The competitively priced power supplies are available in different variants to facilitate system integration including versions with an enclosed front mounted fan, perforated vented cover and two open U-chassis variants where low power dissipation is necessary because of limited air movement. The vented enclosed and U-frame variants can deliver full output power from -20 to 55°C.

With very little heat generated during operation allowing for optimal thermal management, the DDP/MDP1200 series are the most efficient power supplies in their class.

The supplies are available in standard voltages of 12, 24, 36, 48 and 56VDC.

Multiple DDP/MDP1200 units can be used in parallel mode for redundancy and higher power being equipped with internal OR-ing and current sharing functions.

The series offers a 12 VDC, 0.5A stand-by output and a full set of protection features including high breaking capacity fuses on both AC lines plus protection against input under voltage lockout and output over-current, short-circuit, over-voltage and over-temperature.

The power management protocol PMBus is provided as a standard feature by all DDP/MDP1200 variants allowing them to interoperate with and easily be integrated into a system.

Luso will showcase EFORE’s latest range of high performance power supplies on stand G74 at the Southern Manufacturing and Electronics show at Farnborough, UK (March 21-23).
