2kVA, Rugged, Portable DC/AC Inverter with Sine Wave Output for Field Applications

Absopulse Electronics’ CSI 2KT-2A is a rugged, portable DC/AC inverter system that uses field proven microprocessor controlled high frequency PWM technology to generate 2KVA output power with pure sine wave output voltage. High frequency conversion enables compact construction, low weight and high efficiency. The system is conformal coated and heavily ruggedized for immunity to high levels of shock, vibration, humidity, moisture and airborne contaminants. In addition, it is housed in a splash-proof 246 x 512 x 605mm case, with a sturdy handle for portability and for easy use in the field.

The CSI 2KT-2A system delivers 110Vac/18Arms continuous at 60Hz; 230Vac/8.7Arms and custom outputs are also available. This inverter operates from a 24Vdc line voltage; 48Vdc, 125Vdc or custom inputs are also possible. It is built with internal power modules: the DC/DC input stage boosts the input voltage to a higher DC voltage, which feeds the DC/AC inverter to generate the required AC output. The system has full electronic protection. The input and output are filtered for low noise: the system meets EN 55022 Class A with margins.

The CSI 2KT-2A is priced in the US$2,580 range at low quantities, depending on options required.
