70W medical switching power supply from UNIPOWER provides up to three outputs from 1.5 to 48VDC

UNIPOWER Corporation has announced a new range of AC input medical switching power supplies that can be customised and delivered in just two weeks. The AL-070UM MEDIMOD family provides up to 70W of highly regulated output power in single to triple output configurations from 1.5 to 48VDC. Key features of the AL-070UM units include a leakage current level below 90µA and full compliance with EN61000-3-2.

Common to all models in the AL-070UM MEDIMOD range is on-board Class B EMI filtering, CE marking, an operating temperature range up to 70°C and certification to all relevant safety standards. They are available in a 76.2 x 127.0 x 25.4mm (3 x 5 x 1.2in) PCB format.

“The MEDIMOD family provides our customers with a unique opportunity to specify a switching power supply that exactly meets their application” says Nigel Frey, UNIPOWER’s European Sales and Marketing Director. “It can often take many weeks to get a switching supply suitable for medical systems applications, but with our MEDIMOD solution, a fully qualified medical power supply meeting a customer’s precise needs can be delivered in just a fortnight” adds Frey.
Options available with all AL-070 units include remote sense, extended operating temperature range, isolated outputs, many and varied output combinations, universal AC inputs and low noise versions as well as 24 and 48VDC input models.

All UNIPOWER Corporation medical power products meet the requirements of all relevant safety standards including UL60601-1, CSA22.2 No. 60601-1 and EN60601-1 and are RoHS compliant. Product can be sourced from UNIPOWER Corporation’s factories located in the U.K. and the U.S.
