Featuring an ultra-wide 4:1 input, the converters have been designed for applications where the convenience of DIN rail mounting is required, such as industrial equipment, mobile equipment and telecomms base stations. They operate over a temperature range from -40 to +85°C, with the 50W model operating at up to 60°C with convection-cooling. The 600W VFK600-DIN series comes with load share capability for applications that require power above 600W.
The 50-400W models operate from input voltages of 9-36VDC or 18-75VDC; while the 600W models operate from input voltages of 18-36VDC or 36-75VDC. Output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, 24, 28, 32, or 48VDC are available. Packaged in a rugged aluminium case, the 50-200W VHK DIN family measures 107.5×101.8×52.6mm (4.23×4.01×2.07″) and the 400-600W VFK DIN family measures 199.0×127.0x53.6mm (7.83×5.00×2.11″).
The isolated DC/DC converters feature over current, over temperature, input transient and short circuit protections, as well as output trim, remote sense and remote on/off control.
