3300 Watt Electric Vehicle Charger for Lithium Ion Applications with CAN and IP67 Rating with Optional J1772.

Green Watt Power, a division of Powerland Technology, Inc. announces models at 10 Amps to support 200-420V outputs with IP67 and optional J1772 and fan/no-fan versions. The EVC3300 Series of ruggedized AC chargers handles Lithium Ion batteries in Electric Vehicle (EV) applications  like material handling, motorcycles, scooters, motorcycles, and e-carts. 

The profile design allows easy mechanical integration into a variety of form factors and has options for either fan or liquid cooled designs.  The standard overall dimensions of the no-fan version EVC-3300 Series is 250 x 186 x 44 with a weight of ~5kg. The package is designed for high-power density and thermal efficiency and is fully potted to help in high-stress environments.

The 3.3kW charger with an universal input range of 85 to 264VAC is able to operate in a wide range of standard of worldwide wall power input voltages and frequencies. The input frequency range is 45 to 65Hz. With efficiencies up to 95%, the typical Power Factor Correction (PFC) is 0.99.

The charger has CAN communications for unit status and control with many protection features including OVP, OCP, SCP, OTP, and UVLO.  The operating temperature has a range of -40 to +60ºC with a storage range of -40 to +85⁰C. The EVC is designed to meet UL/CSA, TUV and EN55032 Class B.
