Housed in a compact 1”x1” shielded metal package, the MJW25 Series is a range of 25W DC/DC converters from Minmax Power. The company claims that the series boasts industry leading power density.

The series comprises of models with wide 2:1 input voltage ranges of 9-18VDC, 18-36VDC, or 36-75VDC. These input ranges convert to isolated, tightly regulated, single or dual outputs of 3.3VDC, 5VDC, 12VDC, or 15VDC. Higher voltages of 24VDC and 30VDC outputs can be achieved by stacking the dual outputs. No minimum load is required, whilst input to output isolation is 1500VDC. Additional features include remote on/off, output voltage trim, and comprehensive protection circuitry (over load, over voltage, and short circuit).

Featuring 90% efficiency, the devices are specified to operate in environments with a temperature range from -40C up to +80C. Optional heat sinks are available for optimal high temperature performance. Approved to UL/cUL 60950-1 and IEC/EN 60950-1 standards, the devices are suitable to applications in battery operated equipment, instrumentation, data communications, industrial or other applications where board space is at a premium. Delivering 50% PCB real estate savings, the pin layout of the 1”x1” device matches that of larger 2”x1” devices.

Available with a 3 year warranty, the MJW25 Series is priced at less than $23.00 in OEM quantity with delivery from stock – 6 weeks ARO.
