Operating from an 85-264V AC autoranging input, the Oracle III 200e provides one regulated main output, one battery-charging output and an optional auxiliary output. The main output is derived from the PSU during normal operation, and an internal diode automatically switches to battery power in the event of mains failure.
Available in both 12V and 24V versions, the new PSU is equipped with either Klippon or IEC inputs and an external heatsink, which enables it to achieve a peak output power of 300W or to operate in ambient temperatures up to 70degC without the need for an internal fan.
The on-board Modbus capability means that users can remotely monitor parameters such as system load or battery state and even remotely initiate a battery test cycle.
Built-in protection circuitry guards against short-circuit overloads, reverse polarity, over- and under-voltages, battery disconnection and low battery conditions, while LEDs are provided for local monitoring of system status.
Compliant with the BS EN 61000-6-3 and BS EN 61000-6-2 standards for EMC emissions and immunity, the Oracle III 200e is available in a variety of case styles, including panel mount, chassis mount, DIN rail mount and Eurocard module.
