15W/30W switching power supplies meet medical standards
B2B customer requirements in the medical area are being met by Conrad Business Supplies with TRACO POWER’s open-frame, switching power supply series TPP 15 and TPP 30 which offer 15W and 30W output respectively. Each series comprises eight models with input voltages ranging from 85 to 264VAC and 120 to 370VDC and output voltages ranging from 3.3 to 48VDC.
The built-in switching power supplies have reinforced insulation, are tested according to the latest medical safety standards IEC/EN/ES 60601-1, 3rd edition and meet protection classes I and II. The isolation is designed for 2xMOPP (Means of Patient Protection) requirements up to an operating altitude of 5,000m (normal height null – NHN).
Leakage current is less than 100μA, which simplifies the use for Body Floating (BF) applications. Interference resistance and noise emission of the switching power supplies comply with the latest EMC medical standard EN 60601-1-2, 4th edition.
