Designed to provide up to 1200W for medical system applications, the PME1200 series of single output power supplies have been introduced by Powersolve. Featuring approvals to EN60601-1 and UL/cUL 60601-1 these power supplies can be used in any medical systems application including life support equipment.

There are seven models in the PME1200 Series all offering programmable DC output voltage and current (0 to 105%) as well as a +5V, 0.5A or +8V, 0.3A auxiliary output. DC outputs are in the range of 12-60V and forced current sharing allows for parallel operation.

The power supplies accept a universal 90–264V AC with active PFC and incorporate overvoltage, overload and over temperature protection as well as fan failure protection. They have operate over a temperature range from -20 to +60ºC with some derating.

With a built-in I²C serial data bus, they feature remote on/off, remote sense function and a power good signal. Cooling is by internal fan controlled by power rating and temperature. They also feature immunity to EN61000-3-2, and meet EMI EN55011:2009+A1: 2010.
