Advanced Energy Industries has expanded its NeoPower configurable power-supply line with the launch of a dual-output 24V/24V module, aiming to tighten its grip on industrial, medical, and test-equipment markets.
The module delivers up to 400 W — 200 W per output — within a 2.5-inch footprint. The company says the addition allows engineers to configure as many as 16 isolated outputs from a single supply, removing the need for bespoke power-supply designs.
Advanced Energy highlighted several advantages, including higher power density that cuts space and cost, digital control for more precise current and voltage regulation, and compliance with IEC/EN/UL 62368-1, IEC/EN 60601-1, and SEMI F47 standards.
“The latest modules in Advanced Energy’s configurable NeoPower family help shrink time-to-market for the most demanding applications,” said Joe Voyles, Advanced Energy’s Vice President, Industrial Power Conversion. “The new dual-output modules bring new configurable customisation and flexibility, enabling customers to reduce system size, cost, and complexity by powering even more complex loads from a single supply.”
The company expects demand from medical, industrial, semiconductor, and test-and-measurement manufacturers seeking faster development cycles without turning to custom hardware.
